Why Lymm is such a special place to live.

Lymm is a delightful village situated only 14 miles from the heart of Manchester. The village centre combines ancient history and traditional shops with a wide selection of quality pubs and restaurants.

Albeit a small village, access is very easy with parking available all day. The village also enjoys a traditional market on Thursdays.

The centre is bisected by the Bridgewater Canal, itself steeped in history and charm with it's many traditional canalside public houses. In the summer season Lymm is a Mecca for traditional English narrowboats. The canal is an excellent place to spend time walking or cycling whether it is a summers' evening or winters day. The village has a thriving restaraunt community with French, Thai, Turkish, Chinese, Traditional & Indian all within a short walk.

Lymm offers excellent transport links, being only 5 minutes away from the M56 and M6 motorways so its perfect for those commuters wanting to reside in a small leafy suburb.

The community if Lymm is what really shines through, there is always something going on, whether its a food festival showcasing all its wonderful restaurants, an Easter duck race where the village centre is full of attractions for a great family day out or perhaps on Christmas Eve when the residents of Lymm fill the streets to sing carols with a brass band.
